The final round of the prestigious Miss Grand Korea Beauty Pageant was held on 12^th July at Aktis’s flagship waterpark resort, Island Castle, in Uijeongbu City. Coinciding with Island Castle’s first anniversary of its opening, the hotel, hot spring, spa and waterpark were selected as the venue for this year’s Miss Grand Korea.

The winners of Miss Grand Korea secured the opportunity to compete in Miss Grand International, the world’s leading international beauty pageant, which promotes world peace. Korean candidates have been advocating peace in Korea by introducing the Imjingak Peace Park and the DMZ (demilitarized zone) to the world.

The official SNS account of Miss Grand International, which has more than 3 million followers, actively introduces each country’s culture and tourism industries during the contest. In 2018, Miss Grand Korea attracted more than 200,000 viewers via its live broadcasts on Facebook.

In the final round, 2019 Miss Grand Korea candidates were featured with dresses by renowned dress designer from Indonesia, ANAZ.
